Assemblyman Brown Honors 2022 Women of Distinction
Assemblyman Ari Brown (R-Cedarhurst) honored 12 women within the 20th Assembly District for their outstanding contributions to their community and for their professional or personal accomplishments. They were named “Women of Distinction” and were presented with an Assembly Proclamation celebrating their achievements.
“Each woman honored at this year’s Women of Distinction celebration made a significant impact on their communities through their professional, personal or volunteering endeavors. Their stories are unique and are woven into the story of America and Long Island,” said Brown. “These women come from all backgrounds – from professionals in health care, immigrants who achieved the American dream and women who rolled up their sleeves to love their community. I applaud them for their wonderful achievements.”
This year’s Women of Distinction honorees were Joanne Belli of Long Beach, Lynn Cesiro of Oceanside, Regina Cunningham of East Rockaway, Justine DiMiceli of Rockville Centre, Sheri Hammer of Woodmere, Anne Lieder Kaufman of Woodmere, Catherine May Co of Hewlett, Mercy McQuade of Long Beach, Rosemarie Reo of Inwood, Jenna Thilman of Island Park, Dr. Shoshana Weiner of Cedarhurst, and Stacey Zrihen of Lawrence.
