Manktelow Helps Secure Funds for Walworth-Seely Public Library

Assemblyman Brian Manktelow (R,C,I-Lyons) is pleased to announce $189,000 has been awarded to the Walworth-Seely Public Library by the New York State Education Department. This grant is part of the $14 million in capital improvement projects being awarded to 135 public libraries and systems across New York. The Walworth-Seely Public Library will use these funds to upgrade their library expansion, including installation of a new HVAC system, a new book drop container and an interactive early literacy wall.

“I am thrilled we were able to secure money for our libraries, as they are a vital part of our community,” said Manktelow. “These funds will certainly help expand the library so that it might continue to serve our community in the most effective way possible. I look forward to seeing the finished product of these improvements and upgrades being made.”
