Palmesano, Friend Welcome Area Families to the Capitol

Recently in Albany, Assemblymen Phil Palmesano and Chris Friend were pleased to welcome area students and parents from Loving Education at Home (LEAH), an organization which supports Christian families who provide their children with education opportunities through homeschooling.
“We were pleased to meet with these dedicated advocates in the Capitol,” said the legislators. “These parents are focused on providing their children with a 21st century education, and we admire their commitment to faith and family. We hope they will return to Albany again,” they said.
More than 30 people attended the advocacy day for homeschool students and their families in Albany from Friend and Palmesano’s districts. In all, 300 people attended the event from across the state.
