“The allegations outlined by the governor’s former aide, Lindsey Boyland, are highly detailed and must be thoroughly investigated. While there is always a presumption of innocence, it is in the best interest of the state that Gov. Cuomo resigns immediately. His tenure has been marked by scandals, cover-ups and, now, seemingly credible accounts of sexual harassment toward his former aide. His actions do not represent the values we hold as New Yorkers and they have done great harm to our state.”
