Scholarship Application Available for Cadet Appointment Program

BINGHAMTON – Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo (D-Endwell) announced today the availability of scholarships to SUNY Maritime College. Elected officials can nominate qualified New York State residents from across the state to attend the College and receive a full tuition scholarship.

As an assemblymember, Lupardo may nominate one student from the 126th district which includes the City of Binghamton, Vestal, Johnson City, Town of Union, Endwell and Endicott. The applicant must be a US citizen, a NYS resident, a high school graduate, and be a first-time, first year, college student this fall. The applicant must have a grade point average at or above 90% and a combined SAT of at least 1200, (ACT composite of 26 or above) and have demonstrated evidence of leadership skills through extracurricular activities and school and community involvement.
