Statement on the governor’s State of the State address
January 5, 2011
The no-nonsense, results-orientated approach Governor Cuomo took in his State of the State address today is just what we need to tackle the serious problems our state faces. I was especially pleased to see him focus on Medicaid reform and mandate relief. Controlling state spending and giving local governments and school districts the flexibility to reduce their expenses is the key to providing real tax relief for homeowners, working families and businesses in New York.
