I appreciate Governor Cuomo’s blunt assessment of our state’s finances; we spend more than we make. It’s unsustainable and puts our economy at a competitive disadvantage. We have difficult decisions ahead of us, but it’s important we do what’s necessary to put the state on a path to recovery. We must adopt a responsible and on-time budget; the public deserves nothing less.
