Governor Cuomo put forward an uplifting and optimistic agenda in his State of the State address today. With an overall focus on jobs, his agenda continues to build on the legislative successes we achieved last year. For communities affected by flooding, he focused on rebuilding infrastructure and improving our statewide emergency response system. I was also encouraged by his mandate relief proposal which will include hearings throughout the state on recommendations that will be voted on later this year.
