New York State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. (I, D, WF-Sag Harbor) announced the availability of the 2015 Annual Report of the Assembly’s Standing Committee on Small Business. Assemblyman Thiele is Chairman of the Small Business Committee.

The Annual Report outlines the major initiatives and accomplishments of the Small Business Committee during the 2015 calendar year. This includes securing funding in the 2015-16 State Budget for several business developments, support, and financing programs, in addition to holding several public hearings and roundtables on small business programs and needs throughout New York State. The Committee also spearheaded legislation to promote small business development, help small businesses become more energy and environmentally efficient, promote minority and women-owned businesses, and ease the regulatory burden on small businesses.
