Peconic Bay Community Preservation Fund Revenues Are $177.37 Million for First Ten Months of 2021 Compared With $102.61 Million in 2020

Revenues Are 72.9% HIGHER than Last Year; Cumulative CPF Revenues Total $1.777 Billion

Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. (I-Sag Harbor) today reported that revenues for the Peconic Bay Community Preservation Fund (CPF) for the first ten months of 2021 totaled $177.37 million. In 2020, $102.61 million was collected for the same period. The revenues for 2021 are 72.9% MORE than the same ten month period in 2020. October revenues totaled $18.49 million. CPF revenues for the same month last year were $17.93 million. Since its inception in 1999, the Peconic Bay Regional Community Preservation Fund has generated $1.777 billion. The CPF has generated $214.18 million in the last 12 months. 

Thiele stated, “Revenues for the CPF in October 2021 are higher than a year ago. This marks the 15th straight month that revenues have exceeded $10 million. Revenue for October is the highest since June of this year.”
