Assemblymember Harry Bronson (D-Rochester) announced that he is currently seeking nominations for his Women of Distinction Awards, which honor outstanding women in the 138th District. The winners of the awards will be honored at a ceremony in April.
Our region is home to countless remarkable women who, in one way or another, have helped shape our community and our lives, said Bronson. But too often, the accomplishments of these hardworking women are overlooked. The Women of Distinction Awards provide us with a way to honor these courageous and trailblazing women, and Im excited to be able to show them the respect and appreciation they deserve.
Residents are encouraged to submit nominations for women they believe have gone above and beyond to support and improve their communities. The nominees must live in the 138th Assembly District, which includes the towns of Chili and Henrietta as well as part of the City of Rochester. Nominations can be submitted online at nyassembly.gov/Bronson until April 1, 2020.
