Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio (R,C-Riverhead) is excited to invite the community to join her in a vital effort to support local health care needs by taking part in her annual blood drive. The event is set to take place on Thursday, Jan. 30, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hotel Indigo Ballroom, located at 1803 W. Main St., Rt. 25, Riverhead, NY.

As a token of appreciation, participating donors will receive 10% off dining at Bistro 72, the hotel’s acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, on the day of the blood drive. Every blood donation can help save up to three lives.

“We are calling on residents from across the district to come out and donate,” said Giglio. “Blood donations are vital for surgeries, cancer treatments and emergency situations, and there is always a need for donors. This is a simple yet powerful way to make a difference and save lives.”
