Assemblyman John Lemondes (R,C,I-Lafayette), Sen. George M. Borrello, and members of the state Legislature will be hosting a joint press conference on Wednesday, July 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Elly’s Acres Farm, 3390 Eager Rd., Jamesville, NY 13078,  regarding the introduction of the ‘Ag Ed Expansion’ bill (A.9230/S.8641), which would direct all publicly-funded schools to provide in-depth instruction on agriculture in elementary, middle and high school.

Joining the Assemblyman and Senator are local education professionals, including Jeffrey Pirozzolo, Auburn School Superintendent, Rob Price, Onondaga Central School Superintendent, and Dr. Joel Peck, Fabius-Pompey School Superintendent.

In addition, local leadership in government and the farm industry will be attending, including Danielle Volles, the President of the Onondaga County New York Farm Bureau, and the Hon. John Fatcheric, the Supervisor of the Town of Camillus.
