Giglio Announces Tiffany & Co. Foundation Grants for Arts and Preservation Programs
"Assemblyman Joe Giglio (R,C,I-Gowanda) today announced his support of The Tiffany & Co. Foundation grants, which provide financial aid to nonprofit organizations committed to arts education and preservation, and environmental conservation. The foundation is seeking proposals in decorative arts preservation and environmental conservation.
"It is so important to preserve New York’s culture and environment, and these grants will certainly help eligible organizations continue New York’s tradition of conservation and art education," said Giglio. "I strongly encourage nonprofit organizations in the Southern Tier and Western New York to apply for this worthwhile financial aid."
To qualify for a grant, an organization must have 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status and maintain a program within the foundation’s guidelines. A two- to three-page letter is recommended as an initial approach to the foundation. The foundation does not award money to individuals, organizations that are not 501(c) (3) charities, capital campaigns, operating funds, athletic teams or events or fund-raising benefits.
The annual deadlines for these grants are May 15 and Nov. 15.
