Giglio Appointed To Small Business and Labor Committees
Assemblyman Joe Giglio (R,C,I-Gowanda) today announced he has been appointed by Assembly Minority Leader Charles H. Nesbitt (R,C,I-Albion) to serve on the state Assembly Small Business and Labor committees.
These two committees focus on finding new ways to assist small businesses and improve labor conditions throughout New York.
"I am honored that Leader Nesbitt has assigned me to these two important committees, and I look forward to serving the people of the Southern Tier and Western New York in these new capacities," said Giglio. "As the former owner of a small business, I know exactly what these types of enterprises encounter each day, from labor issues to tax hikes. I will use my place on these committees to help businesses and the labor force across the Southern Tier and New York. My priorities will be finding new ways to reduce the tax burden and strengthen working conditions many of our small-business owners and workers face."
