Giglio Announces Housing Grants For 149th Assembly District
Assemblyman announces DHCR grants to benefit area development

Assemblyman Joe Giglio (R,I,C-Gowanda) today announced a number of grants issued by the Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) that will benefit many communities in the 149th Assembly District. The DHCR is an agency that helps to fund and develop low-income and moderate-income housing in New York state.
“These grants allow local organizations to use these monies to renew and develop housing in our area in order to help the community at large,” stated Giglio. “I look forward to seeing these grants put to good use with the goal of developing housing for those in need.”
The following grants are being announced:
New York State Home Program:
- $300,000 for Neighbor Works
- $500,000 for Cattaraugus Community Action
- $500,000 for Cuba Community Development Corporation
- $400,000 for Andover Historic Preservation Corporation
Restore New York:
- $75,000 for Neighbor Works
- $50,000 for Chautauqua Home Rehabilitation and Improvement Corporation
Access to Home:
- $120,000 for Neighbor Works
