Syracuse, NY – In a heartwarming celebration of leadership, innovation, and dedication to agriculture, Terri DiNitto of DiNitto Farms in Marcy, New York, was honored with the esteemed Industry Legend Award during the Women’s Day Breakfast at The Great New York State Fair.
This highly respected award recognizes women who have devoted more than two decades to the agricultural industry, making a lasting impact through their leadership, mentorship, and advocacy. Terri was nominated for this recognition by New York State Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon, who praised her extraordinary contributions to agriculture, education, and community enrichment.
“Terri DiNitto is not only a visionary farmer but also a mentor, educator, and an inspiration to countless individuals,” said Assemblywoman Buttenschon. “Her commitment to agriculture extends beyond the farm, touching the lives of young people, families, and lawmakers across the Mohawk Valley. Her openness and resilience have left a powerful mark on the community, particularly children who see her as a role model for courage and determination.
During the breakfast ceremony, which included Commissioner Richard A. Ball presenting the Leaving It Better Award, Terri was honored alongside other outstanding women in agriculture.
