Walsh Completes Second Spring Cleaning Event with Truckload of Shredded Documents
Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) partnered with 3N Document Destruction Inc. for a shredding event this past Saturday, April 15, at Milton Town Hall. This event was the second of three drive-thru style Spring Cleaning Events being held for residents of the 112th Assembly District. The free event allowed residents to safely dispose of their unneeded confidential documents.
“Thank you to Dave and Bob Neville at 3N Document Destruction and all the volunteers from the Town of Milton who made it possible for residents of the 112th District to get a kick-start on their spring cleaning in a safe and responsible way. Shredding your sensitive documents is one way to protect yourself against identity theft and is also the best way to dispose of your unwanted paper in an environmentally-friendly way,” Walsh said.
“We had an incredible turnout during this three-hour event and even had one cyclist, whom we called our “cycling recycler,” pull in on her bike to drop off confidential papers. Each year, our recycling events have grown bigger and better. Our third and final spring-cleaning event is this Saturday, April 22, from 11-2 at the Halfmoon Transfer Station, 322 Route 146, Halfmoon, NY,” concluded Walsh.
