Walsh Presents $13,000 Donation To Galway Public Library

Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh presented a $13,000 contribution of state library funds to the Galway Public Library at a Community Ice Cream Social held at the Galway Town Pavilion on Friday, August 25. The presentation was a major highlight of the event, which offered attendees a fun-filled evening of music, games, and of course, delicious ice cream sundaes provided by Stewart’s Shops. Walsh’s contribution will support the ongoing construction of a new town library, a project approved by voters in June.

“The Galway Public Library provides several extremely valuable services to our residents, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support its growth and expansion,” said Walsh. “This new library promises to serve as a gathering place and community fixture for generations to come, and I look forward to watching this beneficial project come to fruition.”
