Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C-Corning) recently welcomed James DeRusha of Corning to the Assembly Chamber.DeRusha was in Albany participating in ‘Students Inside Albany’ sponsored by the League of Women Voters. This interactive conference allows high school students to visit Albany, meet with their assemblymember and learn more about the inner workings of state government. 

“It was a great privilege to meet with James and talk with him on the Assembly floor. Young people learning about the process of how the state Legislature works is so important. I want to thank the League of Women Voters for sponsoring this great event, and I want to thank James for coming to Albany to learn about the legislative process. I know James will do great things in the future and he should be proud of his civic engagement,” said Palmesano.
