Albany, N.Y. May 19—State Sen. Tom O’Mara (R,C-Big Flats) and Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C-Corning) recently welcomed 5^th-grade students from St. Michael School in Penn Yan to Albany. The students were able to visit the Assembly Chamber and see session take place. Making the trip to Albany were teacher Keith Prather and students Otto Anderson, Keith Castner, Wesley Gruschow, Aria Orr, Luna Rodgers and Reid Stevens.

In a joint statement, O’Mara and Palmesano said, “It is always great to be able to meet with and talk to students from back home. They were full of interest and asked many thoughtful questions, and it was an honor to welcome them to Albany. They have a bright future ahead. Thank you to Mr. Prather and his 5^th-grade class for a great visit and discussion.”
