Palmesano Welcomes Local Veterans To Women Veterans’ Recognition Day

Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C,I – Corning) recently welcomed two local women veterans to Albany as part of Women Veterans’ Recognition Day.

Amy E. Kelly, a resident of Bath, served 15 years in the Air Force and is an accredited service officer at Steuben County Veterans Service Agency.

Joan E. Scott, who served 12 years in the Army, is the director of Schuyler County Veterans Service Agency. She is a nationally accredited service officer and lives in Montour Falls.

“We owe these brave women a debt of gratitude for their service to our great country,” said Palmesano. “I’d like to thank them not only for serving our county but also for continuing their dedication through their continued work today helping our veterans.”
