Palmesano Welcomes Local Firefighters
Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C,I – Corning) was joined by Corning City firefighters, Thomas Margeson and Dean Patterson, during the February 4 legislative session. The Assemblyman took a moment to recognize the two men for their dedicated service to the community.
"Every day, men and women like Thomas and Dean willingly put their lives on the line to ensure we have safe and secure communities," said Palmesano. "It was a great honor for me personally to welcome them to the Assembly chamber and say thank you for all they do to protect our families."
Palmesano was re-elected in November to his second term in the Assembly. He now represents the new 132nd Assembly District which consists of the majority of Steuben County, all of Schuyler and Yates counties, and portions of Chemung (towns of Catlin, Erin, Van Etten and Veteran) and Seneca (towns of Covert, Lodi, Ovid and Romulus) counties.
