Palmesano Welcomes Andrew Cook Of Yates County For An Up-Close Look At The NYS Assembly
Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C,I-Corning) recently welcomed Andrew Cook, a resident of Penn Yan in Yates County, to the NYS Assembly to spend a few days getting a firsthand look at the day-to-day activities of being in the Assembly.
“I’ve really enjoyed having Andrew with me throughout the past few session days in Albany,” said Palmesano. “I’m looking forward to having him volunteer back in the district this summer, and I believe he has a bright future ahead of him.”
Cook, who graduated from the University of Buffalo, has taken a great interest in government and public service and aspires to attend law school in the future. He will be serving as a volunteer in Palmesano’s district office over the summer as he prepares for the next step in his career.
“I would like to thank Assemblyman Palmesano for the opportunity to observe the Assembly like this,” said Cook. “I look forward to helping out in his district office this summer, and I’m sure the experience this summer will be just as beneficial as my time in Albany this past week.”
