Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C,I-Corning) recently welcomed the City of Corning Fire Chief, John Tighe, to the New York State Assembly. In June, Tighe was installed as the President of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs.

“John has done an excellent job as Fire Chief for the City of Corning,” said Palmesano. “His leadership and experience, coupled with the unyielding dedication and bravery of the members of the Corning City Fire Department, continues to provide such a valuable service for the residents of the City of Corning.

“It was great to have John in Albany, and I would like to congratulate him on his new position as the President of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs,” concluded Palmesano.
