Palmesano Welcomes Youth Activist To Capitol
Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C,I-Corning) was pleased to welcome Seneca Anastasio to the Capitol during her recent visit to Albany. Anastasio was selected by the League of Women Voters Education Foundation to shadow Palmesano for the day. She was provided a rare glimpse into the inner workings of the New York State Assembly’s legislative session.
“It is always great to host students with a genuine interest in government. Seneca displayed a real intellectual curiosity regarding our work here in the Assembly. I know she has a promising future ahead of her and wish her the very best as she pursues her future goals,” said Palmesano.
Anastasio is slated to graduate from Corning East High School in June. She plans to attend George Washington University this fall.
