Palmesano Speaks To Fourth Graders at Watkins Glen Elementary
Assemblyman Phil Palmesano spoke with an inquisitive and energetic group of about 80 fourth-grade students at Watkins Glen Elementary. He delivered a presentation on state government. Palmesano outlined the respective roles each of the three branches of government play in serving New Yorkers and explained the process by which a bill becomes a law. Additionally, he detailed his role as an assemblyman.
“It was a true pleasure to speak to the students at Watkins Glen Elementary last week,” said Palmesano. “They were a great group of kids and they asked really insightful questions. I know they have bright futures ahead of them, and I want to thank all of the faculty and staff for hosting me.”
In addition to meeting with the fourth-graders, Palmesano met with a group of Watkins Glen High School freshman and eighth-grade students later in the day.
