Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C,I-Corning) was pleased to welcome Madelyn Reid from Erin, New York to the Capitol this week. Madelyn is a senior at Spencer-Van Etten High School. She traveled to Albany to participate in the League of Women Voters Students inside Albany Conference. She shadowed Palmesano for a day, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the legislative process.

“It was a pleasure to spend the day with Madelyn. It’s so encouraging to see young people with a genuine interest in government and public service. I want to thank her for participating in the conference, as well as the League of Women Voters for promoting engagement in our democratic process,” said Palmesano.
