Gray Hosts ‘Day on The Water’ to Honor Local Organizations Supporting Individuals with Disabilities

Assemblyman Scott Gray (R-Watertown) hosted a “Day on the Water” event today to celebrate individuals with special needs and recognize the vital contributions of Jefferson and St. Lawrence ARC, DPAO and NRCI play in their daily lives. These organizations play a crucial role in enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities and making a lasting, positive impact on the community.

The event began with a two-hour tour aboard Uncle Sam’s 2 Nations Boat Tour at 10 a.m. Participants enjoyed a scenic cruise along the St. Lawrence River, followed by a visit to the historic Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay.

Gray expressed his gratitude to the organizations, stating, “Today’s event is a small way of acknowledging the incredible work that Jefferson and St. Lawrence ARC, DPAO and NRCIL do every day. Their dedication to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities is truly commendable, and I’m proud to support them. The positive impact they make on our community cannot be overstated.”

Gray also extended a special thank you to Uncle Sam Boat Tours and FX Caprara for their sponsorship along with his office, which made the event possible.
