Gray Promotes New Pathway for State Financial Aid, Highlights Current Scholarship Opportunities
To help students and families better navigate higher education financial aid opportunities, Assemblyman Scott Gray (R-Watertown) is announcing this month’s financial aid opportunities and resources, including a new application pathway for New York State financial aid.
“We want every student to have a fair shot at higher education,” said Gray. “I encourage families to explore these opportunities and take full advantage of the resources available.”
With a commitment to sensitivity, security, and access, the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) has launched a new application path for eligible students who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens. This pathway is for students who wish to apply for New York State financial aid, including the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), but have privacy concerns with submitting their personal information on the FAFSA.
