Assemblyman Scott Gray Announces the Completion of a $50,000 Grant to Keep Watertown Ambulances Ready and Reliable

Assemblyman Scott Gray (R-Watertown) is excited to announce the completion of a $50,000 grant to support the Town of Watertown ambulance service. The funding will go toward the purchase of an ambulance to keep the service timely and reliable for years to come.

“In an emergency, few things matter more than knowing help is on the way, and this investment will ensure our community has that peace of mind in their most challenging moments,” said Gray. “I'm proud to support our local families and the dedicated crews who work hard to answer every call so that this service stays ready and well-maintained for years to come.”

For Watertown and the surrounding area, this grant means a stronger, more dependable ambulance service.

“I’d like to thank Assemblyman Scott Gray for the funds needed to assist with the purchase of this new ambulance. This ambulance is critical to town residents and beyond. We appreciate being the beneficiary of these funds,” said Town Councilwoman Joanne McClusky.

President of the Board of Directors for Watertown Ambulance Service Rolly Churchill also commented, saying, “Thank you to Scott and staff for getting us this grant in order to buy the ambulance!”
