Hawley Continues Local Business Tour At Trek, Inc.

Assemblyman tours local electronics design and manufacturing corporation

Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,I,C-Batavia) continued his tour of local businesses at Trek, Inc. in Medina. Trek, Inc. is a world-renowned leader in the design and manufacture of electrostatic measurement and high-voltage amplification equipment.

“Trek, Inc. has maintained its position as an industry leader for over 40 years through its hard work and innovation,” said Hawley. “Forging relationships between private industry and state government is essential to the long-term development of New York state’s business climate, which currently ranks 49th in the nation. Having a company like Trek, who sells internationally and continues to demonstrate their commitment to Western New York, does wonders for our regional economy. The technical industry continues to demonstrate its importance in the world, and I look forward to continuing a strong partnership with Trek.”

Trek, Inc. is an American corporation with offices in Medina and Lockport, New York, with a sister company in Tokyo, Japan. They are most noted for developing the world's first all-solid-state, high voltage (20 kV), high speed, DC-stable amplifier. In 2010, Trek, Inc. was honored with the Electrostatics Society of America’s President’s Appreciation Award.
