Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,C,I-Batavia) will be joined by New York City Assemblyman Michael Benedetto (D-Bronx) Tuesday, Aug. 14 for a tour of the 139th Assembly District. The group will be visiting various businesses and farms in Lyndonville, Medina, Oakfield and Batavia. “As I’ve done for the past several years, I will be touring my Assembly district with my colleague and Bronx Assemblyman Michael Benedetto,” Hawley said. “At a time when politics seems divisive and gridlocked, I always make an effort to reach across the aisle and invite a colleague from the Big Apple to a different part of the state, and in turn I plan on visiting their Assembly district as well. At the end of the day, we are all New Yorkers and I can see this as a tremendously enriching experience for both of us.”
