New York State Assemblyman Steve Stern released the following statement showing support for Israel: “I most strongly condemn the horrific and unprovoked attacks, murder and taking of Israeli civilians by Hamas on the morning of Simchat Torah, a day of religious celebration,” said Assemblyman Stern. “Echoing the heinous attacks on Israel almost 50 years ago today, these acts of terror must be strongly condemned by all people of goodwill. We affirm our commitment to the State of Israel and her right to defend her land and her people.”
