"A lot of these manufacturing buildings were converted into housing, work-and-live environments. That is a culture that has been created throughout New York City. Now that landlords no longer, or are seeing a different perspective on these buildings, they want to vacate these people that have lived there and I'm talking about 10, 15, 20 years. They deserve the right to live there.
