Assemblyman Fall and Local Business Team Up to Donate Fitness Equipment to FDNY

Staten Island, NY – Assemblyman Charles D. Fall (D-Staten Island, Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn) in collaboration with Steve Tanen, owner of Transformation Fitness Studio, proudly announced the donation of state-of-the-art fitness equipment to FDNY Engine 158, also known as "The Harbor Knights."

The donation reflects Assemblyman Fall’s commitment to public safety and his support for the health and well-being of first responders. The newly donated equipment, including cardio machines, weights, and resistance gear, enhances the firehouse’s capacity to support its members in maintaining the strength and endurance needed for their demanding duties.

“This donation is a small way of showing our gratitude to our city’s bravest who risk their lives to protect us every day,” said Assemblyman Fall. “By ensuring that Engine 158 has equipment for training, we’re playing a small part in helping them stay ready for the physical challenges they face in the line of duty.”

Steve Tanen, owner of Transformation Fitness Studio, added: “As a local small business, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. Our partnership with Assemblyman Fall to assist FDNY Engine 158 is about helping those who help us every day. We’re honored to contribute to their preparedness and safety.”

Robert Unger, Staten Island Trustee for the Uniformed Firefighters Association, praised the effort, stating: “As soon as NYC firefighters put on their gear, they face physical challenges, which is why it’s important to keep up their physical conditioning. This donated equipment by Assemblyman Fall and Mr. Tanen will go to great use to keep the members of Engine 158 – ‘The Harbor Knights’ – prepared to serve the residents of Mariners Harbor and Staten Island safely.”

Assemblyman Fall extended his thanks to Transformation Fitness Studio and FDNY Engine 158 for their dedication to public service and community strength. He pledged continued support for initiatives that enhance both public safety and local partnerships on Staten Island.
