Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) joined his Assembly colleagues at the “Run for Their Lives” rally today in the New York State Capitol in support of the call to release the 134 hostages being held in Gaza. Among the hostages held since the terrorist attacks on Oct. 7 are two New Yorkers. Given the robust relationship between Israel and New York, the state is demanding the safe and prompt release of the hostages.

“These hostages have now spent 179 days being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza. This must come to an end. We must demand the immediate release of these helpless hostages and return them back home to their families and loved ones.”
