Assemblyman Ra Congratulates H. Frank Carey High School Students

Assemblyman Ed Ra (21st Assembly District) recently congratulated a group of H. Frank Carey High School students who participated in the New York State Future Business Leaders of America Leadership Conference (FBLA) in Rochester. The students were tested on a variety of computer and business procedures which included designing a profile of how a company should utilize social media to communicate with its clients.

First place awards were given to Adrianna Gatt, Athena Loizos, Sabrina Melgarejo, Louis Cona, and Christopher Rodriguez. Other winners included Yasemin Cifcikal, Joseph Galgano, and Dan Motto. All first place winners are eligible to represent New York State at the FBLA National Leadership Conference to be held in Orlando, Florida in July.

“I am honored to congratulate these students upon their triumphant return to our community following the New York State FBLA Leadership conference,” said Ra. “Their success should inspire future young leaders from our community to test their ideas in a competitive setting. I wish these students the best of luck at the National Leadership Conference this summer.”
