Assemblyman Ed Ra was joined by Superintendent Dr. James Hunderfund and Assemblyman Brian Curran to honor the Malverne High School Marching Band and Color Guard for its state championship win. Led by Director Erin Lynch, Assistant Director Glen Johnson, Color Guard Director Mike Maraia and Percussion Coordinator Michael Messina, Malverne High School now holds back-to-back state titles. This year’s tournament was held at the Syracuse Carrier Dome.
