Ra: Thank You For Making Family Safety Day A Success
Over 100 kids participated in the many events promoting safe, family-friendly summer activities
Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) is thanking residents for helping to make Family Safety Day this past Friday a rousing success. The event, which was hosted by the assemblyman and the Village of Williston Park, featured opportunities for children and parents to learn about enjoying the many activities our communities have to offer in a safe and responsible fashion. Over 100 children had identification cards made up courtesy of the Assemblyman, AT&T and Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano.
“I would like to thank everyone who came out and participated in Family Safety Day,” said Ra. “With such a strong turnout, we were able to provide identification cards to scores of children and better educate our families on how to enjoy the summer safely and responsibly. I would also like to thank the Village of Williston Park, AT&T and County Executive Mangano for their roles in Family Safety Day. Without their contributions, this event would not have been nearly as successful.”
Ra was also on hand to schedule appointments for his Car Seat Safety Check, which will be held on Wednesday, August 21 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Albertson Fire Headquarters located on 100 I.U. Willets Road in Albertson. For more information on this event or to schedule an appointment, interested residents can call Assemblyman Ra’s District office at 516-535-4095.
