Bronx - Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz (D-Bronx) has been named Chairman of the State Assembly's Bronx delegation by the 11 Bronx members of the New York State Assembly. As the consensus choice for Chairman, Mr. Dinowitz will now be the point person in dealing with legislative issues that affect the entire Bronx.

“I am honored that my Bronx colleagues have chosen me to lead our delegation in the Assembly,” Dinowitz said. “We have many important issues facing us as a delegation, and we are fortunate to have so many hard-working and effective members in the Bronx. As a unified delegation, the Bronx has been, and will continue to be, very influential in many important legislative and budgetary issues facing Bronxites and all of New York.”
