Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,C,I-Deerpark) recently met with the new owner of Empire Diner in Monroe, which recently reopened following renovations and a change in ownership. The eatery offers a wide array of American cuisine as well as a gluten-free menu and all-day breakfast.

“I am excited to see that Empire Diner has reopened following some renovations and I look forward to its success and community presence as a staple of the Hudson Valley,” Brabenec said. “I know how important small businesses like this are to our local economy, and it is crucial that we focus on legislation that allows them to grow without Albany interfering. I am eager to work with Empire Diner and its new owner, Dave Wenger, in the future and wish him and his team the best of luck.”
