“A 26 percent tax increase is the last thing we need. New York needs to join every other state in the nation and pay for Medicaid at the state level. By doing so, we would be able to put money back into our families’ pockets. As a former town supervisor I know how suffocating Medicaid costs are in New York and seeing that eliminated would be a major step in cutting property-taxes at the local level.”
