Over the weekend Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R, TCN-Deerpark) celebrated our nation’s birthday by attending the Celebrate America Parade in Greenwood Lake. The patriotic festival highlight’s our common roots as Americans and what it means to be free.

“This year’s Independence Day Parade was a great showcase of the patriotism and vibrant spirit of Greenwood Lake’s families,” Brabenec said. “I always look forward to the parade and all the exuberance of patriotism, optimism, and unity that it highlights. The Fourth of July is a symbol of American culture, and every year on this day we celebrate what happened in 1776 and solidify who we are as a nation.”
