“It has become increasingly clear as the months roll on that Gov. Cuomo is using the office of the governor to run for the office of the president.

“His list of proposals is more of the same circus we are accustomed to seeing, posturing of empty promises with no known legislative backing or funding mechanisms.

“Governor Cuomo is trying to be the progressives’ champion by expanding government, adding more regulation to an over-regulated state, adding more spending, which will certainly mean increased taxes for the highest taxed state in the nation, and making it more difficult to start a business or even raise a family in this state. Socialism does not work but the Governor must have skipped that lesson in high school.

“Unlike the governor, who will say anything to win reelection, I have presented real solutions for our rising property-taxes, corruption and economic development programs that work.”
