Brabenec Announces Toys for Military Tots Drive
Brabenec teams up with local officials, WTBQ Radio to collect toys for the children of veterans
With the holiday season about to unfold, Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,TCN-Deerpark) is teaming up with WTBQ Radio, Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus, Orange County Veterans Affairs, Nam Knights, Leo Kaytes Ford, Vet2Vet and many more local organizations to benefit the Children of Disabled American Vets and Children of the Active & Reserves at Stewart Air Force Base by collecting toys for children this holiday season.
“I am proud to be teaming up with so many great organizations from around Orange County to help local military families have an extra special holiday season,” Brabenec said. “We can never repay the sacrifices of our veterans and active service members but small acts of kindness like donating an unwrapped toy can mean the world to a child whose parents may be deployed abroad during the holidays.”
Unwrapped new toys for ages baby to 12 years old may be dropped off at the following locations Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. from now until December 9. Wrapping paper and ribbons are appreciated.
- Assemblyman Brabenec’s District Office: 28 N. Main Street. Florida, NY
- Leo Kaytes Ford: 145 Route 94 South, Warwick, NY
- WTBQ Radio: 179 Sanfordville Rd. Warwick, NY
“While the holiday tradition may be overshadowed by lavish purchasing and pageantry, please do not forget our neighbors spending time away from their families this year so that we all can enjoy the comforts and safety of Christmas, Chanukah and the New Year,” Brabenec continued. “Please join me in giving back this year; a child will be eternally grateful.”
Contact Assemblyman Brabenec to be a drop-off location or for more information.
