Brabenec Appointed to Legislative Commission on Public Management Systems
Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,C,I- Deerpark) has been selected by Assembly Minority Leader William Barclay (R,C,I-Pulaski) to serve on the Legislative Commission on Public Management Systems (Government Administration) for the 2021-2022 legislative term.
This commission is tasked with examining methods by which the state can improve the economy, efficiency, effectiveness and accountability in state government.
“I am honored to have been chosen by Minority Leader Barclay to serve on the Legislative Commission on Public Management Systems (Government Administration)”, said Brabenec. “This commission is especially important with the dire economic situation our state faces. Albany must be thorough, creative and deliberate in our actions to find as much cost-savings as possible; taxpayers do it routinely with their own budgets and so should our state.
“As a member of this commission, I will call for an independent forensic audit of all state agencies and authorities to illuminate the wasteful spending and budgetary practices costing taxpayers money. I am excited to have this opportunity and will work tirelessly to ensure that New Yorkers have the brightest possible economic future and that our state government is held accountable.”
