Queens, NY – Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D- Fresh Meadows) partnered with Commonpoint Queens for her annual Family Fun Day event on Sunday, August 25, 2024. The event, held at Cunningham Park in Fresh Meadows, brought together hundreds of community members for a day filled with free food vendors, inflatables, face painting, and exciting giveaways, including admission tickets to local museums and excursions like the Hall of Science and Long Island Children’s Museum.

“Family Fun Day is always a special time for our community to come together, celebrate, and enjoy a range of activities. A huge thank you to Commonpoint Queens and our volunteers for being such wonderful partners year after year and making this event possible for all our neighbors,” said Assemblywoman Nily Rozic.

The event also provided valuable resources and information from local organizations and city agencies, including Kissena Synergy, myGym Queens, Queens Public Library, and the Queens Chamber of Commerce.

Rozic added, “It was heartwarming to see so many families enjoying themselves and making memories before the school year starts. Events like these are what the community is all about – bringing people together for fun and celebration.”
