Assemblyman Scott Bendett (R,C-Sand Lake) will be hosting a school supply drive starting Friday, Aug. 4 and lasting through Thursday, Aug. 31. Those who are interested may donate new school supplies for grades K-12 to be provided to our local PTAs for our young students that need them most. The drop-off locations for supplies include the Arvilla E. Diver Memorial Library in Schaghticoke, the Kinderhook Memorial Library in Kinderhook and the Bethlehem Public Library in Delmar.

“I am very excited to be able to host a drive like this,” said Bendett. “With school starting up again in about a month, our children will require books, writing utensils and everything else that is needed to hit the ground running to start the new school year. Providing support for children in need in our communities by collecting these school supply essentials will help prepare them for a successful year.”
