A statement from Assemblyman Scott Bendett (R,C-Sand Lake)
Assemblyman Scott Bendett (R,C-Sand Lake) attended a press conference today alongside fellow Minority colleagues, Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski), parents and child care experts to introduce a series of bills aimed at addressing childcare affordability and access for families across the state.
“As an advocate for New York families, I fully support today’s proposals that seek to prioritize the welfare and educational advancement of youth in New York state. I am proud to endorse these child care bills aimed at enhancing affordability and access for families across the state.
“These measures are essential in addressing the barriers that families face in accessing affordable child care, especially in the wake of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. I firmly believe initiatives like these are crucial steps towards fostering an environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive. It’s imperative we continue to work together to ensure all families have access to the quality child care they need to support the educational and developmental needs of their children,” said Bendett
